Gübelin Gem Lab Reports given a fresh look
Commencing early August 2011 all reports issued by the Gübelin Gem Lab will feature a new design. While their content has undergone only minor changes, their appearance is different. One major reason for this redesign is the need to include certain security features in our products. The introduction of security features in the new reports helps combat counterfeiting and helps our clients to have even more confidence.
At the same time, we have simplified the reports by removing the German and French sections. The new reports feature English as the only language. Bilingual reports in English and Chinese are under preparation and will be launched soon. Until these are ready, the Gübelin Gem Lab will continue its service of offering written translations of its Gemstone Reports in Chinese and/or Japanese – free of charge!
A series of smaller changes have been made to the layout in a bid to harmonise the various styles, fonts and sizes, to enhance legibility, and to aid navigation of the reports.
Our website provides details of the changes and contains
specimens of both the old and new reports. We invite you to inspect the new design and familiarise yourself with the changes in the layout and content. We are confident that the changes are in the interests of both the trade and the end consumer.
